This course will deepen your personal Yoga Nidra practice, and teach you how to share this ancient gift with humans from all walks of life in yogic, therapeutic, and corporate settings.

An ancient sleep-based meditation technique, Yoga Nidra has the power to draw you to the deepest, timeless levels of relaxation where your whole being is peaceful, and your mind is profoundly calm and serene. The practice of Yoga Nidra harnesses the mystical combined powers of the subconscious, as well as your higher centers of consciousness, to gently negate patterns and habits of self-destructive and sabotaging tendencies.

Yoga Nidra is the regenerative and nurturing practice so needed for our world right now.

Welcome!

I’m so glad you’re here. I just want you to know how near and dear the practice of Yoga Nidra is to my heart. I am honored and humbled to say that this practice gave me unlimited access to something beautiful and eternal inside of me. I will never forget the first time I practiced it, in 2001 with my teacher Rod Stryker. I remember coming out of the practice and feeling like a huge weight had been lifted, and an inner warmth remained. I remember thinking, is this what meditation is supposed to feel like? I honestly never had that radiant feeling from sitting meditation! (I still meditate, it’s just more about discipline than relaxing into a field of eternal peace and love ;)

After studying these teachings for over 20 years, I see how deeply the world needs these teachings right now. I’ve created this training to share what has benefited me and so many others in healing, strengthening and coming back to balance. I want to thank you for trusting me to be your guide, I am here to uplift you, inspire you and to connect you to the timelessness that is Yoga Nidra, and after our program is complete, I truly look forward to seeing how you share your Yoga Nidra.

    What is Yoga Nidra? Learn about the value of sleep and Yoga Nidra. The 5 Goals of Yoga Nidra. From the Ayurvedic perspective, learn about sleep rituals, and remedies.

  • Lesson 2

    Micro - Macro Nidra

    2 hr.

    Learn about the stages of the Yoga Nidra practice, and the cosmic vastness of Nidra itself.. Explore therapeutic approaches to savasana.

  • Lesson 3

    The YOGA in YOGA Nidra

    2hr.

    Learn the 8-limb reason behind Yoga Nidra and the 5 Koshic model of healing the practice restores. Yoga Nidra is a synonym for samadhi.

  • Lesson 4

    HISTORY + THE DEVI HERSELF

    2hr.

    Learn the history of Yoga Nidra, sourcing our studies in ancient texts. We well learn the modern history, and modern scientific understandings of this ancient technology.

  • Lesson 5

    OM & 3 States of Consciousness

    2hr.

    Learn the symbolic meaning of Om and understand the Upanishad’s framing of waking, dreaming, deep sleep, + enlightenment. Learn about brainwaves and brain states.

  • Lesson 6

    Sankalpa and the space of Doubtlessness

    2hr.

    The potential for Yoga Nidra to bring us ease physically and mentally is just the beginning. Explore the divinely rich practice of Sankalpa

  • Lesson 7

    PRACTICUM + MARKETING

    Workshop how to structure and write your own scripts with Johnna Live! We will tease out the language for both depth and effectiveness. The second part of our evening will be focused on how to market your offering to those who need it most.
