Ancestral Healing

Workshop

with Johnna Smith

Sunday September 28, 2025

One of Ayurveda’s most powerful practices is Tarpana, offered during the auspicious Pitri Paksha. Together, we honor our ancestors to soften inherited patterns and invite real healing—and we’ll also get crystal clear on the super-powers your lineage gave you (resilience, intuition, devotion, creative fire). I’ll guide you step-by-step—altar setup, mantra, breath, contemplation—so you can meet your line with love, not fear. Gentle, potent medicine for the heart. After the ritual, you’ll receive weekly integration tools to help you weave the insights into daily life.

You’ll receive: live guided ritual, recording of our practice, simple home-altar guide, mantras, journaling prompts, a “Lineage Super-Powers” discovery exercise, and a 2–3-week integration sequence (mini practices, prompts, and check-ins).

Perfect for: anyone feeling stuck in old stories and ready to bless the line forward—while claiming their natural gifts.

  4. Identify and activate your lineage super-powers (courage, intuition, artistry, leadership)

  5. Create a simple, repeatable home ritual you can return to anytime

  6. Stay supported with post-ritual integration tools (short practices, emails, and tiny action each week to embody a chosen lineage super-power)

Tarpana: Ayurvedic Ancestral Healing

Ancient wisdom and modern research agree: echoes of our ancestors live within us—both the tender imprints and the hard-won strengths. In this workshop, you’ll learn Tarpana, an Ayurvedic ancestral-healing practice offered during Pitri Paksha, to gently release repeating patterns and awaken the inner resources your lineage has already placed in you.

Pitri Paksha is the sacred window for honoring those who came before us. We’ll gather for a guided Tarpana ritual on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 3:00 PM to offer prayer, mantra, and simple offerings—lightening what’s heavy, amplifying the blessings, and opening space for love, prosperity, and freedom to flow forward.

In the Yoga and Ayurveda traditions, remembering our ancestors is a powerful catalyst for transformation. When unprocessed family stories stay blocked, they tend to repeat. By honoring and relating to our lineage with devotion, we create an opportunity to heal what hurts, keep what’s holy, and free ourselves—and future generations.

Honor Your Ancestors.

Heal the Pattern.

Claim the Gifts.

When you sign up, you’ll receive an email packet with everything you need: what to bring (journal + pen, comfortable clothing, simple altar items), easy setup instructions, and guidance for the ritual. Please double-check your email—I’ll also send gentle tools in the following weeks to help you integrate what opens.

This is a very special practice, and I’m honored to share it with you.

Loving you,

Johnna
