Train with Johnna Smith at North Shore Yoga this Winter!

This 200 hr Yoga Alliance Approved Training begins in August 2013.

In our 4 weekends together participants will:

  • Learn how to teach from the heart the Power Yoga Vinyasa Flow Sequence
  • Gain skills to uplift and inspire students while guiding them deeper into their practice
  • Make lasting connections with others just like them
  • Study patanjali’s ancient yoga system and understand how it relates to modern times
  • come alive!

From this yoga teacher training, students leave feeling more alive than ever felt before! life will look different because of the new awarenesses gained in practicing yoga. We will immerse ourselves, practice svadhyaya (self study) to have mastery over our doubts, fatigue, small living and breakthrough to a whole new life. The world will seem new, we will have less stress, better sleep and sex (!), creativity is rekindled and the spark comes back into your eye. All of these things happen not because the world has changed, but because we have. “Yoga is connecting to truth” (Rod Stryker) and as we drop the many layers of untruth our light is revealed. We nurture that light throughout training and then, upon leaving training go light up others! The role of the teacher is to remove the darkness: “One of the roles of the teacher is to protect the student from doubt, carelessness, laziness and procrastination. August 9-11

September 6-8

October 18 – 20

November 15 – 17

Typical Training Weekend Times:

Friday  6 – 10pm
Saturday 7am-7pm
Sunday  7-7PM
